First Blog Everrr!!

Hey yall! This is my first blog everrr and I am sooo excited :) I pray that as I use this blog it will be both an out for me and also a blessing to you! I'm not sure exactly what I want this blog to be. Basically just an insight for you to see what I'm thinking or dealing with or just simply to keep up with me. Or even..just something to look at and think about and pray and reflect on. Whatever it is to you, I pray that it is a blessing nonetheless :) Welp, here's to happy blogging!

Lately, I've been learning a lottttt about love. Not little girl dance around your room can't wait to go to school and see him love...but love that is ridiculous...love that is unfathomable..love that is so big that I can't seem to wrap my mind around it no matter how hard I try. God's love. Mmmm...it is SO beautiful.

I see this love in so many ways here in Kentucky. Through my friends..little messages from my family...surprises in my SPO (which I loveee getting! SPO=seminary post office)...A's on papers...the beautiful leaves...international students...chapel...etc. It's everywhere. And so often, especially here in seminary, I see people (including myself) trying to prove myself to God. All around there are people who seem to be smarter and more gifted than me and even more blessed...but God constantly reminds me of His love. Of how much He loves me and all of His children.

You see...God loves me now just as much as He did before when I was a mess and living in the world. I don't have to prove anything to Him. He loves me just the way I am. And no matter what I do or how much...He will still love me just the same. Think about that for a minute. Beautiful, isn't it?

So instead of beating yourself up for not reading enough or praying enough or journaling enough or witnessing enough...just allow Him to love you. And everything you do..your special time with the good Lord is simply an act of worship. Because we love Him.
