YOU GO TAYLOR SWIFT

Jealousy. It can kill someone I tell ya..kill your spirit..kill your joy...kill your self-worth...people these days..theyre mean and it's so sad.

Last night Taylor Swift was ridiculously blessed with award after award at the CMA's. It was funny to see how some people reacted. When she received her first award everyone was excited...second still excited..third little bit..fourth ehhh...and now it seems like EVERYONE has something to say about it. But truth is, by us loving her songs..watching her videos...going to her concerts...etc we made the awards happen. And yet, now were unsatisfied? Why do people do that? Why do people constantly steal someones thunder when it is their time to shine?

J-E-A-L-O-U-S-Y. Yes, other artists are good. They wouldn't be there if they weren't. Others deserve it too. But Taylor is amazing. She is 19 years old and writes her own music. Things that hit straight home with us because she writes about things that we relate to. She is a teenager who has given up highschool memories, her friends, and family (things WE NEED as a teenager) in order to follow her dreams and help us sing at the top of our lungs when we hear WE WERE BOTH YOUNG WHEN I FIRST SAW YOU or SHE WEARS HIGH HEELS I WEAR SNEAKERS SHES CHEER CAPTAIN AND IM ON THE BLEACHERS or my personal fav I GOT AN I HEART QUESTION MARK WRITTEN ON THE BACK OF MY HAND!

I just wish that we could be a body of people that encouraged one another and built one another up. One that would rejoice when we won something and hurt when we were sad...I long so much for a world filled with love towards one another and to be seen the way Jesus sees us. Today, think about the things that keep you from loving like this and let them go.
